Wine and Steak - It's what we do.

Located at 2032 Broad Street in Regina, The Diplomat Steakhouse has been operating from the same location since the business opened in February of 1979.

The Diplomat Steakhouse is owned and operated by John and Nicky Makris and their sons, Dimitri, Peter and Perry.  

The Diplomat has received 8 Wine Spectator Awards & has been ranked one of the top 100 Restaurants in Canada.  

The biggest highlight of the restaurant is the combination of food & atmosphere.   The best steaks, big wines, all the while you are surrounded by a surplus of polished oak & red velour booths.   

The staff is most passionate about food & wine and you will feel very comfortable while you dine. 

Visit our cellar and experience the legend.   Wines from 1892, Cognacs from 1820, rare collections of port  & cognacs.  Visitors always make The Diplomat their destination for dining…A truly magnificent experience!

At The Diplomat, we're not wine collectors, we're wine drinkers!  That's why we don't condone the absurd margins other restaurants routinely charge.

You can always feel comfortable that all our wine list is priced fairly and will contain wines you won't find anywhere else in Saskatchewan.  

We welcome you to explore the wines we have on display throughout the restaurant, all listed with prices so there are no surprises.  Wine is our passion, let us share it with you.
